Rain-X Weatherbeater Wiper Blades Installation - 2001 Ford Ranger

Today on our 2001 Ford Ranger, we're going to be installing the Rain-X Weatherbeater Windshield Wiper Blades in an 18-inch long design part number RX30218. Now these wiper blades are designed for both the driver and the passenger side as this vehicle requires an 18-inch-long wiper blade. These replacement wiper blades provide ultimate visibility in wet weather. They'll each meet or exceed the OEM standards of your vehicle. The wiper itself is made of a long-lasting, all-natural rubber edge, which resists cracking, splitting, and tearing. It also has an integrated UV inhibitor built in to help protect the squeegee from damaging effects of the harsh sunlight. You'll simply take the wiper arm and raise it off the windshield. You'll then squeeze in the locking tab with the locking tab squeezed in, you'll gently pull down and remove the old wiper blade. As you can see here, these wiper arms have a J-hook design, so you'll take your new wiper blade, slide it over the J-hook, and push up until you hear it click or lock into position. Once you have the new wiper blade installed, simply set it gently down onto the windshield. We can then go ahead and repeat the same process over on the other side. That'll do it for our quick look as well as our installation of the Rain-X Weatherbeater Windshield Wiper Blades in an 18-inch-long design, part number RX30218 as installed here on our 2001 Ford Ranger. more
